Remember a few weeks ago when I explained that I was investigating FOOD and had no idea what to eat?

Well, its like Michael Pollan read my post, because he just put out a little book called:

Food Rules. An Eater’s Manuel.

JUST what I asked for!!!!

You can read it in about 15 minutes and its filled with all kinds of fun little tips:

1. Eat Food

2. Dont eat anything your grandmother wouldn’t recognize.

8. Avoid foods that make health claims.

11. Avoid foods you see advertised on television

18. If it came from a plant, eat it. If it was made in a plant, don’t.

22.Treat meat as a flavoring or a special occasion food.

31. Eat wild foods when you can

35. Eat sweet foods as you find them in nature.

37. “The whiter the bread, the sooner you’ll be dead.”

39. Eat all the junk food you want, as long as you cook it for yourself.

44. Pay more, eat less.

45. Eat less.

57. Dont get your fuel from the same place your car does.

60. Treat treats as treats.

64. Break the rules once in a while.

Of course, all of these are explained in delightful little paragraphs. I LOVE this book.
